After much anticipation (I'm not sure why, as I really don't fully understand British politics, let alone Dutch) it seems that the election results here are in. If I understand it correctly, there are still a few more to come, but the outcome is pretty much set in stone. VVD (Conservative) has won, so Mark Rutte will remain as Prime Minister. PVV (Freedom Party) has come second. Although I think that has still to be confirmed. So, will Mark Rutte and the controversial Geert Wilders agree to form a coalition and share their toys or not? I understand 'not' is the answer to that, but only time will tell, I guess.
Just a quick update on my African Flower Bulldog progress. Well, the second one is now complete and I've made good progress on the third since taking these pictures! This one, I wanted to create a mischievous look. I mean, all dogs have their own personality, don't they?! So, instead of doing flowers as the pattern is intended, I decided to give him a patch and create him in plain colours.
Today the sun is shining and I'm feeling inspired! The reason for this is not the sun at all (us redheads fear it!) but it has more to do with the fact that he who mustn't be obeyed has agreed to let me have the craft room of my dreams! Well, not exactly, but we are going to decorate/renovate the spare room and make it into a craft room. I have a specific theme in mind.

So, what to do on a rainy Wednesday? In my case, not a lot! I've been laid up with the flu for what seems like an eternity. The flu itself has long since got better but have some complications from it and am just not able to do very much. Looking out of the window today is not very inspiring either! I have, of course been playing around my favourite hook and yarns! I have a few finished projects ready to photograph.
Hubby bought me the most wonderful crochet pattern - Max the African Flower Bulldog from Heidi Bears. All I can say is 'Wow!'. I love it!
Thursday it was our 1st wedding anniversary! I told him it didn't seem like a day over 10 years! No, seriously, I wonder where the time has gone! We got married on our 'anniversary' from when we first got together. So, not only was it our 1st wedding anniversary, but also 5 years since we got together as a couple. Well, every year (except last year of course!) we've gone to the same place. I sooo wanted to go there again this year, but told hubby to 'surprise me'. The suspense was getting too much,
